Dr David Andrea was recently appointed Exec VP at the Center for Automotive Research, responsible for the Research Agenda and it's management, returning to CAR, the organisation he helped develop over a decade ago.

 

When David agreed to talk to the Men's Club last Fall , he was Senior VP with the Original Equipment Suppliers' Association (OESA), responsible for Industry Benchmark Surveys and Media Relations.

 

During a 30+years in the Automotive Industry, David's positions included Forecasting Director at Auto Pacific and Chief Economist at CSM Worldwide.

 

David gained a BS at Miami U and MBA at U of M. Among many civic posts he was President of the Detroit Assn for Business Economics.

                            Problems Facing Birmingham Today

Mrs. Hoff is a public relations consultant.  She previously served as Birmingham's Mayor in 2005 and in 2010, as a City Commissioner since 2001, and on various city commissions, including the Board of Review, Zoning Board of Appeals, Advisory Parking Committee, and the Ad Hoc Downtown Development Committee.  

 

Mayor Hoff also serves as Chair of the  Foundation for Birmingham Senior Residents, Oakland County Friend of the Court Citizen Advisory Committee, and as a mediator at the Oakland Mediation Center.
